replace plug on a heater

Job image

Job description

General Electrical
Hamilton

this is an oil column heater that we only had for a month last winter and our pet rabbit decided to chew the cord, luckily it wasnt on at the time! (for the rabbits sake!) and luckily it is also down the plug end, so would still leave us enough length of cord if the damaged part was cut off and a new plug wired on. We found it wasnt worth it to get an electrician callout to do it as with their minimum callout fee it was almost going to be cheaper to just buy a new heater! We are still hoping it might be worth doing since its so new, and looking for someone to do it at a reasonable price and i am happy to drop the heater off and pickup again if local.
