Lights in one sided of the house gone after turning Kitchen lights

None of the lights in the front section of the house is working when we turn them on. This includes kitchen, toilet bathroom and a bedroom. Although the appliances and plug points are working its just the lights. We've tried changing the bulbs but no luck. This issue started one day when the kitchen lights were turned on and then the entire front sections lights were gone.
