Lighting repair

I have some light fittings that need repair: hallway light (halogen bar bulb?) used to get very hot and has burnt through its wiring near bulb; 3 hanging kitchen lights (halogen) over bench have dodgy transformers (?) that need replacing; and one fitting in chandelier over dining table needs looking at.
