LED Light Installation, disconnection of unwanted socket, wall light removal

I'm renovating a mid-80s house and want to: 1. Install LED lights in two bedrooms, a store room, a bathroom and a toilet. 2. Disconnect an old electrical socket that was installed for a TV shelf in one corner of a bedroom. 3. Disconnect and remove two old wall mounted electrical lights. 4. Check one existing LED light which occasionally won't turn on.
