Rewire House

1940's house needs a rewire, as outlined below. House approx. 110sq meters. Has good access to roof and under house. Most light fittings should already have new wiring, but some wooden conduit remains in the roof access. Known issues are 2 x junction boxes in the roof access that have 'illegal' wiring. Quote has been obtained from usual Electrical Company, but I just about had a heart attack!! -Install a new meter box outside, upgrade the mains cabling from the meter box to a new switchboard in the existing position. -Upgrade the earthing system including a new driven earth electrode. -Replace the cabling to outlets, lighting, range and water heater in the existing positions -Replace the garage distribution board. -Test the installation and issue a Certificate of Compliance
