Electrical works

I have just moved in to my new house. There are places where we don't have any power points and there are some switches that control more than one light at the same time and we need to reconfigure those. In our lounge we have halogen lights that I need to replace with energy savers / led whatever is easy and cheapest. Also i have a double garage where I need to have some electrical work to have home photo / video studio (lighting etc). There are already some points and switches in there but either at wrong places or not enough. Thanks,
