Attach window latch

I have replaced a lot of window latches at my home but hav one that I can not affix It is to be attached to an aluminum window frame The prior time it was attached someone used the wrong screw and also didn’t align the latch properly I have tried to fix without success I think that a couple of new holes will need to be drilled so that the latch is aligned and securely fitted
