Bifolds for wardrobes

Job description

New Timber Windows & Doors
Wellington

We have new built-in wardrobes. There are two his-and-hers measuring 1125 wide x 2000 which were made to take standard pre-made doors (560 wide), but we'd like to investigate the cost of bifolds. Above these wardrobes are smaller storage cupboards measuring 1125 wide x approx 550. The house is 1930s with an art deco theme, so the existing room doors have three vertical recessed panels, we would like to consider rebated panels in the bifolds and doors above, to keep the appearance roughly in theme with the house. In the next room is a single wardrobe measuring approx 2100 wide x 1800, with a smaller cupboard above. We'd also like to get double doors or bifolds with rebated panels in there. Around the wardrobe doors we would like architraves, and for the joiner to finish off the details such as the picture rail and skirting and scotia, to make the built-in wardrobes appear part of the room. Simple MDF is fine as all doors will be painted.
