Can't close wooden frame french doors

Our French doors are warped, or slipping or something, and now it's really difficult to close them. It may only need a little filing or sanding to make them fit. And over time we've ripped the theads off the screws holding the handle on to the door - so we want that fixed too. We only need a relatively short term fix as we plan to replace the whole lot later this year.
