Unblock Door

There is an internal door between our bathroom and a spare room that used to be functional but is currently sealed/boarded up. It has hinges and a door knob on one side (the spare room) but not the other (the bathroom). Both sides have a door frame. We'd like this to be a functioning door that can be opened from both sides with as little change as possible. If major work needed to be done to the wall, we wouldn't go ahead with the job.
