Bathroom window sill beginning to rot. House is 100 years old and has a unique heritage. Removing the stained glass window isnt an option. I would liketo protect this window and prevent moisture from penetrating. If possible, i would like the window sanded down and apply alternate layers of caulk and waterproofing around the trim, two coats of kilz primer, two coats of enamel trim paint, and more caulk at seams and joints. Would like to know of other options for moisture penetration without removing window. Any other recommendations? Somehow this window has survived 100 years in this house and I'd love to help it survive another 100.
