We have a bathroom door handle that is coming loose and not opening at times, I have taken the handle off and the holes where the screws were drilled inside are coming apart. Even if I can take the base plate off the door handle and re-drill it, I’m unsure whether the door will be strong enough where the holes are drilled. I’ve attached photos. I’d like to get the door handle fixed as soon as possible.
