Sliding doors to hinge doors

We need our current 2 panel sliding doors replaced (or cut down?) with a double panel hinge door. We would like better access to our full laundry cupboard, currently can only access one side at a time. Opening size roughly : (Inside jamb to inside jamb dimension) 1455w x 2210h Smooth panel, MDF?
