Puhoi Library Door

A single standard external inward-opening hinged timber door to the one-room Puhoi Library has some base rot. The door is timber framed with a full-height tongue & groove boarding panel flush with the frame's outside face. There is some base rot in the t&g, but the frame seems OK. The work sought is the removal and replacement of the t&g, and general weather sealing of the door panel. The building is heritage-listed so the appearance is important. If the door needs to be taken away for the work, then a temporary security panel needs to be secured in place of the door. By prior arrangement the library can stay closed for a few days.
