We have a bifold mirror door on a wardrobe that needs fixing due to coming off its track. It has also not opened and shut properly since replacing our carpet (although it was already an issue before this), even when we have attempted to reattach it inside the runner, as it easily slips out. We wonder if the mechanism needs replacing, or if there is a way to raise it higher so that it doesn’t press on the carpet. Cost does matter to us in terms of what we can afford right now, but it also needs to be a solution that can withstand constant use, as this wardrobe is in a kid’s room. We’ve tried a number of things over the years but are stuck on what to do next. We’d even consider a complete replacement but are not sure where to start with that, and need to try and find an affordable solution. Can you help? Thanks!
