Possible window seal replacement

Bathroom ceiling window seals possibly perishing although difficult for us to tell. There are piles of small black particles on sink, floor and bath directly in line with windows above. It doesn't look like insect waste but we not qualified to tell. See photos. Glenview Hamilton.
