Aluminium casement window not closing

Aluminium hardware issue (not a glass issue). Rental property - bedroom casement window cannot be closed. 4 -5 year aluminium window. Was always tight to close, but recently guest didn't realise and tried to force it closed. Now the bottom window strut (not sure if that is what it's called is very bent/warped, and window cannot close or be secured.
