The main latch on the door moves rods that lock into the door frame (top and bottom). The bottom one is stuck and now can't be opened. I've attached two images, one shows the door with the bottom circled where the rod would go into the door frame and the second image shows a similar door in the house and what the frame would look like and the rod entry point into the frame.x
