Cylinder cupboard door

Our hot water cylinder was not able to be accessed because it was covered with cladding. We have recently moved to this house. I need to replace this with a door. Existing packing timber needs to be removed and replaced with a frame and door. The gap once timber is removed is 640mm. I am hoping to use an off the shelf door (610mm) from the likes of Bunnings as I am wanting to do this as cheaply as possible while also looking tidy. I also have an extending clothesline that I want installed in the garage. This will involve drilling into the concrete wall.
