Hello there. Our existing chimney is being lopped off as part of a re-roofing project so it will be taken down to the ceiling level. I need someone who can remove/demolish the chimney from inside the house and plaster up afterwards. The living room has recently been carpeted so not sure whether we would need the floor to be resurfaced or additional carpet. The fireplace and chimney is located on the ground floor, going straight into the roof space. So demolition would just be on one floor. Photos provided below illustrate the following measurements of the chimney and room: 2.6m hight from floor to ceiling and the breadth of the mantelpiece (which covers the approximate width of the chimney) is 1.33cm. The new fireplace will go into the alcove (shown to the right of the mantelpiece, where the record player is) next month, so looking for availability in August, early September. thanks
