The boxing day earthquake has damaged our chimney and it needs to be removed. We would like it removed to roof height and a new sheet of iron put over. The chimney is towards the outside of the house and is brick at roughly 1.5m high. The chimney does not look damaged, but when leaned on it moves so it is possibly cracked below the roof line, and we do not want it falling over in the next big aftershock.
