Moffatt - curtain rail installation

I have a curtain rail that keeps falling off the wall. It was originally just installed onto the gib, I have used magnets etc to try and find studs, but I can't find them. The curtain rail keeps falling off and I now have big holes in the gib where the supports used to be, The curtain rail is just below a heat pump so I don't have room to hang it higher. Could be a quick job for someone who knows what they are doing?
