Sewing needed on blind

I have a blackout blind on my caravan that has a tear. The mechanism it currently has is a clear piece of plastic stitched to the White blackout material. This then slots into the mechanism. So the job i have for 1 or possibly two blinds is either. - A price to replace the blackout fabric and get it working on the mechanism (2100wide by 900 drop). or -A price to just re-sew the plastic trim onto blackout cloth that i buy from bunnings in a cheap kit, i'll cut this down to size (no hemming etc needed. (so just sewing a length 2100 long with stitching similar to pic).
