I'm wanting to hang heavy curtains in one bedroom and have the existing blind taken down. Looking for advice on rod style - have had heavy curtains before and the rod kept pulling out of the wall under the weight. I have bought vintage curtains which I'll have remade to fit, so open to suggestions for how these can be tailored to fit the rod.
