Fast & cheap are the name of the game here! We have a subdivided property which is currently under construction on the back half. The builders have informed us that driveway has turned into a quagmire and that they are getting their cars stuck so we need some work done on it asap to make it drive-able for the contractors. Possibly need the top really sloppy mud skimmed off and then some base coarse put down and given a bit of a roll but we probably need some advice on exactly what needs doing, someone experienced and with helpful advice who can talk us through the process would be good as there are a couple of concrete pads to be poured in other places on the site and we aren't sure which order to do things in so as not to interfere with the build but also facilitate access and keep costs down! Note: We do not want the concrete laid yet, but we don't want to have to put down the base layer again, so this needs (if at all possible) to be done in such a way that the concrete can be poured later without anymore stones being put down. We have already put a truckload of shingle down but it has been ground into the mud by all the trucks and drain layers digging it up and we don't want to have to do it AGAIN after this! We also need some sawdust put down around the house for the contractors as the entire site is very muddy. We can't start this job til Friday 27th and it needs to be completed preferably on the Friday but by very early the following week (Mon 30th/Tues 31st) at the latest, so that the trucks etc. can get down the driveway. (Expecting the roofing to be delivered on Mon.) So if you couldn't start this job asap please don't chase the job! We'd like someone to come out and assess the job asap. If this job goes well we will likely get you back to complete the concreting etc at the end of the build!
