Rebuild of foundation wall

Job description

New Concrete Foundations
Porirua

We have a foundation wall under a bay window which is falling apart and needs to be demolished and rebuilt. The reason for the failure is simply old age - the house was built in the 1920s, the concrete was not particularly good quality and no reinforcing was used. We have engineering plans. The general outline of the work required is: install temporary supports for the floor in the area; demolish the existing foundation wall and two concrete piles; construct a new foundation wall with appropriate footings as per plan; remove temporary supports. The existing wall has stone facing which we will probably engage a specialist to rebuild with appropriate fixings to the new wall (also as per the plans).

Brent and team took on a challenging piece of work which other tradies weren't prepared to do. They communicated well, completed the job to a high standard of workmanship and did a good clean-up when the job was complete.
