Recolouring pavers

My faded outdoor paving tiles need cleaning and retinting. Waterblasting should take care of the cleaning, and much of the retinting I could probably do myself. The real problem is the bald grey patches where the colour has come away entirely. I tried tinting over these with a stain and just made them look worse. Not interested in anyone trying to charge the builderscrack success fee as part of costs.
