I require a small section of concrete footing removed. I have removed most of it except for two end bits which are over the top of underground cables of which I no experience dealing with. I'm looking for a contractor who is experienced digging around underground utility cables and is able to safely remove these pieces of concrete. I have had a locate done and have the plans for both electrical and communications. Both pieces of footing are approx 20mil deep and about 30mil across, length is approx 100mil. One piece is over the top of a power cable (left photo) which is 40mil deep (according to the locate) and the other (right photo) is over a communications cable of unknown depth. The piece in the left photo could be reinforced, but I'm not sure, as one sections I was doing contained metal rods but were easy to cut through, whereas the other piece in the right photo is not reinforced. If removing the concrete exposes the cables then I would like the holes back-filled, I can supply soil. I'd like a quote at this stage as I'm weighing my options. Thanks.
