Driveway gravelling job

I have an existing driveway in which I have removed the garden along the fenceline so as to create more turning and parking area. I need the dirt from the garden to be compacted and then a layer of clean gravel to be laid and compacted on top. I want a generous layer of gravel to go from the fenceline across to the other side to the house. It doesn't have to be completely level from one side to the other but relatively flat. Then I want it to be gradually blended in with the rest of the gravel towards to neighbours carport and the rest of the driveway.
