Laying drainage
Job description
We have a lower storey garage. This suffers from water entering in two locations and flooding the floor. Firstly it enters under the roller door as the outside ground level is not signifancantly lower than the concrete floor in the garage and secondly at the back of the garage at the other end of the house where water enters from the bank. At the front of the garage I would like to install the 130x135mm connecto drainage channel with a top grating . In front of the garage door there is concrete drive that stops in a straight line along the edge of the house. The door is 2.4m wide and the channel can be a standard 3m long. From the end of the channel there will also need to be about 3 m of drainage pipe laid under the concrete drive . This will go to an existing clay pipe drainage pipe. Fitting the channel will require cutting along 3m of concrete drive about 130mm from the house to fit the connecto channel. Fitting the drainage pipe will require cutting the concrete drive. The job will require installation of the channel, ducting and making good. Note this can be done as a stand alone job if required At the rear of house it probably needs drainage putting into the bank below the garage floor level. This can be done as a seperate job if required.
