Concrete path removal

We have a concrete path in the middle of our lawn, so looking to remove it and sow some grass seed over where it was. We're getting a new driveway laid early February, so if a digger or any heavy machinery is required (i.e. a heavy digger or truck on the driveway), we'd rather this is done prior to then (i.e. this January). Path is in two parts, running alongside a hedgeline (which we will look to remove prior to the path being taken up) circa 11.5m long ×0.6m wide.
