concrete patio resurfacing

Our concrete patio is looking very sad, and we are interested in having it resurfaced with a decorative concrete. We like the terracotta tile look, but are also open to other types of finish. The patio has 3 steps that are curved at one end, making real tiles difficult to install. My wife would like to inlay a couple of mosaics into the new surface.
