1) Patio: Cut off a 1 m long top step , concrete in a 1 m cube hole where a chimney has been removed so that this small patio, up against a back door, consists of 2 continuous steps, level and smooth. A small stravel ight forward job. A small amount of concrete cutting is involved; possibly 15 cm deep cuts then smash off the remaining bit of top step will do it. 2) Garage floor, 5 x 3 m . Establish levels, laid polythene on old concrete, poor / level 60-65 mm layer on top. This is now a work-room, foot traffic only
