Concrete Remedial Repairs
Job description
I am looking for a quotation for a concrete patio repair - full patio size is approx 5 x 3 (give or take) Crack/ fractured is at front door step entrance. There are some other cracks on the ring foundation that were formerly repaired under EQC that need some remedial attention. The concrete patio was never attended to, however it is now under an EQC claim for remedial repair. I have the option now to nominate a cash settlement 4 - 6 weeks or opt for EQC repair sometime in 2017. My property is currently for sale. I want to proceed with cash settlement with the view of options: 1) Repair ASAP as soon as cash settled (this may take place prior to any settlement date or thereafter) or 2) I will pass on the cash settlement amount to the new owner along with the accepted quotation/contract to complete the remedial work. If you are interested please read the following excerpt from my claim as per below on cash settlement. I have used builders crack 3 times now .. this job is very important to me so I only want serious & professional input as I am serious about getting a complete and trade worthy job done. Whether the whole concrete patio needs to be redone .. I will leave to you the expert.. I can provide an address for inspection - I will select 1 or 2 only from any response and that's just to make sure that both opinions line up rather than take 1 set of advice. Thank You *** Cash settlement *** Where cash settlement is preferred, please provide a contractor’s quote in respect of the remedial repairs that you consider are required to support the information you have already provided. Please provide the quote within four weeks of the date of this letter for EQC to progress your remedial request. The quote you submit to EQC must be printed on the contractor’s letterhead and contain the following: 1. Detail of the aspect/s of the CHRP repair that you are concerned about, along with the estimated cost of any associated remedial works (GST Inclusive). 2. The contractor’s GST number.

am impressed with all aspects in dealing with Marcel and his co-workers at Bergmans & Co.
