Fire place

Good morning I have this lump of concrete where our fire place used to sit (photo attached) which I would like to have removed. We would also like the internal hearth (approx 1200mm X 300mm) area lowered by approx 20mm so we can glue floor boards in the area. The house is located in Carterton, construction was late 1960’s, the distance between the house and fence for access is about 2.7 m. I am not a professional but this may have been poured as part of the foundation ring wall. I was wondering if a small job of this size is of interest to your company. Kind regards
