concrete patio

hello I have a patio out the back of my house which is flat concrete but has become quite uneven with age and then a small deck out the front which is a black asphalt and I am very keen to tidy it up, it pools in a couple of areas so not sure if it needs levelling, not sure of the right wording but basically keen to tidy up the appearance and help the water to move along. the front deck is around 11 x 6 but on a sharp angle and the back deck is quite large maybe 10 by 8 but a sq... but haven't measured.... thanks
