New concrete patio

This patio/path is about a year old but the layer didn't get the fall/drainage right so water ponds (see photo). I had someone try and grind and patch it to improve the flow which worked somewhat but looks even worse! It's horrible. I need someone to grasp the challenge and replace it, perhaps with something more decorative like aggregate. Make a difference - could be very rewarding.
