relatively small concreting job - replacing an existing slab 7m x 2.5 in all. We have started breaking up the slab and can complete and remove or can discuss this as part of the contract. This slab is on top of a retaining wall to one side (and at the end corner) so part of the slab is extra thick (about 200mm) and tied to the top of the retaining posts with threaded steel rods - these have been separated from the concrete when breaking up - will be incorporated in the new pour. Slope is important as needs to align with existing drain (see photo) We are changing the layout slightly as will no longer be using this part for vehicles but will be leaving a space to the side for gardens. Some basic boxing required. Some base preparation by way of building up the existing base a little (there has been some subsidence over the years hence the cracking). Access is by a flat ROW - should take a truck ok. Would be nice to match existing concrete colour which is reddish - not sure if using a red aggregate or added colour - but not essential.

This was a smallish driveway concreting job. Walter got in contact quickly and got the job done promptly. Worked around my particular requirements, provided good advice. Good quality finish. Used the couple of barrows of left over cement to patch another area at no extra cost.
