Garage ceiling mould/mildew removal

Our tenanted property has an internal double garage with laundry at the rear, and the last tenants used an unventilated dryer which caused moisture build-up and mould and mildew growth all over the ceiling (new tenants have a vented dryer - thank goodness!). We've cleaned it in the past ourselves using a long handled brush and a bleach solution. Ideal solution is to remove the mould/mildew with a treatment that inhibits regrowth in the future. We forgot to measure it when we were there today but it's a fairly standard internal double garage.
