Cleaning fly poo off kitchen ceiling - possibly also re-painting?

Kitchen ceiling hasn't been cleaned in 5 + years and it needs attention! We had a go at it when painting kitchen, but gave up 2/3 through (See pics) Keen to get it thoroughly cleaned - and repainted if you can do this also. ASAP would be great - but Dec/Jan OK (pref before 20 Jan 2021)
