Replace cladding

We have a small leak when the rain is driving in sideways on our house, only on one wall. It's happened 3 times now and the advise I have had is to remove the cladding and use more modern sealers, and replace the flashings. It's not a huge job and ideal for someone wanting to fill in a few days maybe. We feel that once the Pallaside is removed we'll see where the problem has been. We are happy to replace with new Pallaside or maybe even try something else as long as it can be done, Rusticated weather board for instance. Job is up Omanawa Road. The wall is 7m long with a curved bay window. Easy to access on a second floor.
