Recladding and balustrade

We have recladding around a window on south side of house that needs replacing. Was hardy board/batten. About 6m2 on first level. Scaffolding likely. As well, about 20m of existing balustrade to be taken down and replaced on a first level deck. Was wooden railing, that no long meets standard code. Replacement options considered. Photos to come.
