I am selling a property in Fairy Springs - currently under a conditional contract Part of the property's cladding had fallen off over the years, and a fix was done to make sure it was watertight, however it does not meet the building code. The purchaser has done a building inspection and this has come up as something to be fixed prior to going through with the sale. The property is vacant and can be viewed at any time. I don't know what work would need to be done. I'm interested in finding out, getting a quote, and - in a perfect world, but I know how busy it is at the moment! - fixing the cladding asap so that the sale can go through. We are currently on day 6 of a 15 working day conditional period (I will gladly extend this conditional period for the purchaser if they'd be ok with that and the extra time would help) I've attached photos from the listing on trademe which show the re-cladded area pretty clearly. Please contact me if any more info is needed.
