Reclad house ends (70sqm house)

We have just purchased our first home and both short ends of the house have significant clad rot present. We need to have this replaced with similar cladding and may need to get council consent to do so. It is currently weatherboard cladding which we would likely use again to match :) There may also be some frame rot that needs replacing but won’t be obvious till the cladding is removed.
