Job description

New Cladding
Christchurch

Published: 16 July 2019

We have some rot to the substrate under shingle roofing over the lounge bay window and exposed timber rafters. The rough length of the lounge bay window is 4 metres. The weatherboards on the rear of the house also need to be replaced (including whole rear gable). The width of the house is around 9 metres although on the lower part is a lot smaller, see photos. There are also some weatherboards that need replacing on the north/ east corner, rough size is --- metres. Also some floorboards need replacing as a hole is starting to appear in the hallway, we do have carpet that we would like to keep. The width of the hallway is around 1.75metres, unsure of the length that need to be replaced. Depending on the costs of the above we might also replace the rear bedroom window to a larger window.

Russell and his team did a good job on fixing weatherboards and fitting in a "new" window more in style with our home. Cleaned up well after each workday. After work started I found a few more issues that were also addressed which of course took a bit more time and money. Overall were happy with the work done and wouldn't hesitate to use them again :)
