Job description

New Cladding
Auckland

One rotten board on the end of the cladding has been removed. It needs to be replaced. The original board was 20 x 50 x 560 mm. There is a little bit of rot in the ends of two boards that touched the rotten board. We don't want the replacement wood painted, just primed. We will do the topcoats ourselves. We also have a loose weatherboard that needs to be tacked back in place. The weatherboards may be heart matai. The house was built in 1950 and that is what it says on the building application. We have some scraps of weatherboard of the same size (140x20) that are left over from an earlier renovation. The work is at ground level.
