Replace old Carpet = approx 120m2 and fix squeaking floorboards

We would like to replace our old and tatty carpet with new carpet and fix squeaky floorboards at the same time The area covers approximately 120 m2 over 5 rooms and the hallway. 3 rooms have a walk in wardrobes We would also like some advice about the sort of carpet - there is a flat downstairs and we want to minimise the sound.
