Ive had a large plant pot inside that I didnt realise was damaging the carpet, once I moved the plant I realised the water had damaged the carpet, to the point where when I tried to clean it, bits of carpet was rubbing off. I tried to dry it up with baking soda and clean it with carpet stain/sanitiser and it only made it worse.
