Wardrobe interior carpet relaying

This is a very small job relaying the underlay and carpet inside two wardrobes. The carpet was removed to facilitate widening the front wall of the wardrobes to replace the pull open doors with sliding doors. We have kept the carpet and underlay that was removed and we also have spare carpet from the original carpeting of the house. The floor size is 220x55cm in one wardrobe and 165x55cm in the other. The shape hasn't changed along the back and side walls but the front edge now runs straight instead of dipping in and out where the original doors were. The front edge may need patching, or alternatively the back edge could become the front and the back could be patched. We think a bit more underlay may also be needed.
