Carpet patch

I have a small area in front of a fire that has burnt through the carpet. Approximately 25mm x 25mm hole. Previous tenant cut a patch out and nailed a new piece in but I would like it repaired properly with the edges of a new patch stitched in professionally. Plenty of spare carpet to cut a new patch out of it.
